Most people come to me seeing a specific problem, but not the full picture around it. Others know they’ve grown faster than their processes can support. Either way the work starts the same: step back, map what’s actually happening, and build a clear way through it.

Two ways in

Who I work with best

Companies somewhere between a five-person startup and a fifty-person company growing faster than its processes.

My deepest experience is in fintech and IT, and the same patterns show up in almost any office-type business, whatever the industry.

I work on the office and systems side of a business. If the problem is on a manufacturing production floor, I’m not your person; the office side of those businesses, I am.

What the work can include

  • Solutions Architecture. Map out how your systems should connect — API boundaries, data contracts, integration sequencing, and rollout planning. Industry-agnostic; the patterns translate everywhere.
  • Vendor & API Evaluation. Before your dev team touches a new vendor or third-party API, I test it — reliability, documentation quality, edge cases, and integration risk — then hand off a clear recommendation.
  • Technical Documentation. API flow guides, integration runbooks, and architecture overviews written for the people who actually have to build from them. Less ambiguity, faster implementation.
  • Team Alignment. When internal teams aren’t speaking the same language, or when the way you present externally doesn’t match what your team can actually deliver — I bridge both gaps. Process maps, clear handoff paths, and alignment that holds.
  • Pre-Sales & Demo Strategy. Shape how your product is presented to prospective customers or partners. I help teams articulate technical value in business terms and structure compelling, credible demos.

How we can work together

Project-Based

Defined scope. Clear deliverable. Fixed timeline.

Best for discrete problems with a clear outcome — an API integration audit, a vendor evaluation, a documentation sprint, or an architecture review. We agree on scope upfront; you know exactly what you’re getting.

  • One-time integration or vendor assessments
  • Documentation overhauls
  • Architecture planning for a new product or feature
  • Pre-launch readiness reviews

Retainer

Ongoing access. Strategic continuity.

Best for teams that need a solutions expert available as they grow — monthly check-ins, async question access, review cycles on new integrations or vendor decisions, and someone who knows your stack over time.

  • Startups building out their integration layer
  • Teams evaluating vendors on a rolling basis
  • Ongoing internal/external alignment support
  • Fractional solutions director access
